Empower at the EURES Jobs Fair

The EURES (The European Job Mobility Portal) Jobs Fair was a huge success. The fair took place in the Fingal County Council Offices on 18th October.

Empower were invited by the Department of Employment and Social Protection (DEASP) to provide a CV clinic for attendees from 2pm to 7pm. A number of Empower staff provided expertise at the clinic and helped over 60 people with writing and laying out their CVs. There were more than 150 queries about the service.

Over 30 employers exhibited vacancies on the day and attendees could take their updated CVs to meet with employers and apply for positions.
