Intellectual Disability Awareness Training for Employers

This two-hour training will be led by Clinical Psychologist, Elzaan Marnane and will equip participants with the knowledge required to support people with intellectual disabilities in the workplace.

This course is open to all employers and community organisations in the Fingal area.

You will learn:

• How to support a person who has a disability in work placement or employment.
• The benefits of hiring a person with a disability.
• How to be build a respectful & inclusive work environment.
• About the challenges experienced by people with disabilities, providing better understanding.

You will also have your questions answered around employing people who have disabilities.

This disability awareness training will take place on Thursday, 12^th September 2019 from 10am to 12pm in Dillon House, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15. Places on this course must be booked by Friday, 30^th August 2019.
